You ain't kidding. Bill Gates certainly looks like a piker in front of the Sultan, at least in matters of finance. I say, nice racket, if you can get it, eh?
CPQ- Don't count them out yet, you may be pleasantly surprised, all the temporary pullbacks aside.$70.00 dollars is defenitely a good entry point if you can get it, i beleive i got in at the 60s.
GTE-I don't know GTE is a good candidate for day trading, certainly a good long term investment. I even heard a rumour ATT may go after them, if they can spin off the credit card division.Hey, it could happen.
Communication/Telecom: If Telecom. aka Communication prickle you fancy, I have one word for you- SPACE. I think copper wire and fiber optics cables are on their way out, and the time for satellite (wireless) communication has come or nearly so. If you have time, check out the following URL:
