We used to have hockey here....a looooong time ago. But, they sucked. So, we sold our team, (The Flames) they went to Calgary, and became some kind of champions or something.
Then, we got it again a few years later, and this time they were pretty good, but then they went away again. (I guess the ice keeps melting??)
I keep hearing something about the Thrashers, and I keep getting junk mail from them because they want me to buy a box or something, so I guess we are getting it again.
Hockey is fun to watch, but it's not really a southern thing. Here in the South, if we want to watch a bunch of guys fight, we just go to a bar. (Or log onto SI)
