It's a law from (I think) 1934 or 1940... I believe its called something like the Fair Trade and Pricing Act. Basically, it was created to prevent railroads from giving cut-rut pricing to certain customers and not others. There is a pretty big loop-hole though... TRKN could give a substantially different price based upon even slight differences in the contract. Nevertheless the point is still valid. sds
