I feel sad for America

For a different reason, I get the same feeling. Yesterday I had a cab drop me to the airport in Canberra, Australia (from home).

We got talking about the Olympics, and then the cabbie commented : "I like Americans, I just wish their government was on a different planet, so the rest of us could live peacefully". Not wishing to get into a debate, I asked him why he mentioned that, and he said "Well mate, you have a US flag flying outside your house, so I know you're American, thought you'd like some feedback before your elections".
