According to a senior Israeli intelligence officer, Saddam has hidden his chemical and biological weapons in Syria. Of course, we don't know whether this is a fact, or whether Israel is enticing America do broaden the war into Syria. However, if it suspected that Saddam has hidden WMD in Syria, I would think Bush has to continue the war to Syria. It'll be rotten eggs on Bush's face if WMD is not eventually found in Iraq, and the way out is to say that the WMD has been hidden in Syria.

As for the coalition humanitarian aid to Iraq, remember that America and Britain MUST provide humanitarian aid to the Iraqis. As invaders, under international law, they are obliged to ensue that the civilians are looked after. Under international law, if America and Britain does not provide humanitarian aid, it is considered a war crime.
