John, I sure don't detect what I consider true racism going on out here in the heartland. I've seen nothing to suggest that there are significant numbers of people who would 'never vote for a black or never vote for a woman'....although surely there are some.

I am hearing something I don't like, though. That is the pundit suggestion that AAs couldn't handle it if the supers turned to Hillary and she got the nomination. If you think about it, that's insulting to a whole group.... it's a racist statement that implies AAs aren't mature enough or smart enough to understand what went on and handle their disappointment.

Not good. This will inject race into this campaign in an ugly, unfair, divisive way. I'm fixing to email the next pundit I hear broaching this notion and hope you and others will join me.
