I did not expect McCain to use the quote from a Hamas leader about Obama to further his chances. McCain should be aware that if he gives credence to the Hamas leaders utterances over that of Obama's, then voters could very easily surmise that he does not have the ability to discern what should grab his attention as President. Obama has not supported Carter's meeting with Hamas. Obama has stated clearly that the Hamas leader is not a elected rep like Ahmedinijad is. Hence he said he would refuse to meet with the Hamas leader.
