We invited anyone, especially those who frequented my board at "Fundamental Value Investing", to put forward their stock choices which we then voted on. The stocks that got the most votes went into a Portolio of 10 stocks whose performance we then wanted to compare to the then top 10 stocks of Warren Buffett. I believe that several of those who put stocks forward hardly, if ever, posted on Value Investing. So I think that they had their own criteria for how they chose their stocks. One of the contributors was The Ox, and from what we see below, he doesn't post at Value Investing ... As you quite rightly stated, GLW, certainly has been a winner. We both showed early enthusiasm for this stock. With a current Capital Gain of over 179% since September 2012 it's been the top performer in my 5 stock portfolio ....
