Evidence of Ballot Tampering in Palm Beach County?

Here's an article that claims that ballots in Palm Beach county were intentionally double punched for the purpose of fraud. That article references a some other news
reports and I've provided links to those below. There's definitely something fishy going on. I would like to see some tallies on the vote combinations in the
double-punched ballots. If the Gore camp is correct and voters accidentally voted for Buchanan, then the overwhelming majority of the double-punches should have
votes for both Gore and Buchanan. Any other result would strongly point toward ballot tampering. This seems to me to be an extremely important question. Why isn't
this information being provided?

The guy who wrote this appears strongly biased (and I didn't follow all of his logic); however, he does bring up some valid questions. I'd be interested in getting input on this both "from a moderate's perspective" and from a statisticians perspective.

Disclosure: I'm a software engineer, but no statistician, and I voted for Bush.
