Hmmm, speak of the devil. While I was ranting Wile E Al had some financial shifts on his hands [as did I, with Mighty Q! dwindling yet again to around the levels I though it might drop when it was zooming along with everything and sitting at about $44 a share; now $32 a share]. Quite a blip in the markets.

Meanwhile, on Wile E Al and Buffett and where it all ends, here's an interesting article by Jubak moneycentral.msn.com

Personally, I think debt is great. It'll keep Americans working. All the retirement talk is silly. Uncle Al and Buffett and Dr Jacobs and all sorts are elderly and not even thinking about retiring to the golf course. Work is fun, or at least gets people out of bed and doing something useful. The devil finds work for idle hands.

I will look after the layabout way of life to act as a warning to others of the dangers of a dissolute life on the golf course. The rest can work, pay taxes, vote for more taxes, and spend the rest on CDMA.
