Thanks . . . I'm not willing to give up on managing my own portfolio yet, but I do have a few "rules" that I won't break - and at least one of them is to not try and day trade a stock. I would suggest that you not give up, just diversify into markets you understand.

On-line trading has introduced too many people to too many opportunities with too many sources of information on which to draw.

IMHO, SIMPLIFY (you can't keep really good track of too many companies) but DIVERSIFY! (Owning stocks in only one or two market areas is too much exposure).
