I was amazed that someone was trying to play tennis with the Santa Anas blowing, too. The tennis court had a fine-meshed screen tied on the chain link that probably acted as a windbreak. But Santa Ana winds don't always blow consistently, and sometimes all you get are big gusts. It's been calm at my house all day. But just two miles east of here the wind is really whipping.
