It may be true about Newmont. I was told that a program in North West Arizona is Newmont. It is near the Lost Basin Range near Meadview, Arizona. I have been told that the company in there is a sub of Newmont. I have recently read that the prospecting company is one of the worlds largest gold producers, without being named. It is not a company that has to promote its stock there so they are being very quiet.I have not done title work, so I will let you take your pick.
There used to be a small public mining company named Moritz Mining Company that held the biggest well in the valley right near the King Tut. They also have some other ground in there too as fee lands but without mineral rights. I don't even know if the company is still a valid company, but they might be. I have some of that Moritz stock, but had written it off years ago.
