GBLX (Global Crossing) and QWST (Qwest Communication) are my 2 favorites now in the fiber laying area... they seem to be the leaders (at least QWST is) and showing by today's action they held up well. GBLX trades thin and yesterday dropped 4 or 5 .. and then gained it all back today... have some for longer term, but will watch how it trades... it trades a lot more like a stock with a thin float than a 17 or 19M float.

Also GBLX splits in early March!
Plus will announce completion of the Atlantic portion of their line soon...

I didnt watch the market too much today, but tommorow ... hmm.. well as I said a few days ago.. lets see if this is a 3 day bounce from oversold conditions or a real rally. Still undecided. Whenever DOW hits 9500 area the past 2 months we have had trouble... so this was not unexpected. I just dont like to see the continued weakness in SUNW, EMC, LU etc... they used to drop a point at most on days like these, now they drop 3-5 pts.

I assume we closed at the low for the day... because around lunch it was a decent day! Maybe 2 or 3 days down and 2 or 3 days up will be a pattern for a while. There is no catalyst to make us move big time down or up right now... so sideways we go. Good for trading... unless we drop out the bottom! WOOSH

Took some BCST profits today
Still long AOL, ATHM, BCST (half), CNET, CNET April options, GBLX, ZD March options
