If there's a deep, protracted recession, there won't be much work for writers of Mac software, IMHO.
I know. But that's true about most professions, except for the few truly recession-proof industries like alcohol sales, bankruptcy law, precious metal mining, car repairs, used clothing stores, depression medication, etc.
I've known that a deep and prolonged recession has been coming for a few years now. I had no idea when it would hit, because the bubble seemed to be running on fumes, and the Fed was printing fumes with wild abandon. But now the bubble has begun to deflate and the recession is at hand. For some twisted reason, the Fed is still pumping money into the system as fast as it can to try to reinflate the bubble, but it's not working. Anyway, my point is that I've had ample time to prepare for this, mentally and financially.
