iPOD doesn't live up to your billing I know. As I said, my prediction was "based liberally on rumors, hearsay, and baseless speculation." I forgot to mention "wishful thinking." iPod is kind of neat, but it's hardly earth-shattering. Its advantages over MP3 players include its very fast Firewire interface (whose single connector both syncs your music selections and recharges the iPod's batteries), and its battery life. But who cares? It's a Walkman. Dave
