Why would ANYBODY in their right mind want the MOT modem
division, now that they have cut 40% on their BitSurfers?
This kind of cut on a new product would surely be a formula
for bankruptcy for ANY acquiring company. I can understand
that MOT is under a lot of pressure to reduce inventory and
x2 retail sales have overwhelmed them, but why commit sucide
when your earnings are already hurting and you wish to sell
the division?

I agree David, that COMS has no real use for MOT modem division.
