OT...OT

They only allowed dealers to be beta testers. I wasn't one. They started selling these on Jan 1. They have two systems. One comes with the computer, which they did the beta test on. The other, you use your own computer, which they did no beta test on. I have the one with my own computer. Doh! They definitely have to figure out what they're doing. The system works pretty good. Apparently they are afraid of companies buying this, then connecting a bunch of computers to it through a network. So the way it works, it wages war in your computer if you have any kind of networking anything in it. Also it seems to tie your computer very much into their system. Result is that your computer can freeze up and crash because of their system.
When they installed this. The only warning I had was that it doesn't work with networked computers and "we don't provide technical support for networking". hehe.... They came into my house. I disconnected my cable modem from the networking card in my computer. Then they did nothing about the networking card in my computer. Took me 5 phone calls over the next 24 hours. Lots of childish, irresponsible excuses, before I finally got someone to tell me to pull the networking card out. Did that, after my computer crashed 5 times, couldn't turn it off, and had to improperly shut it off from the back. Pulling the networking card took care of most the problems. But now have a computer that is beat up, it seems to have licked most it's wounds. But still have slight problems with mouse sensitivity and some sluggish graphics at times. Also have had problems getting into my secure sites. Had to have tech help at my brokerage help me to clean out all possible memory in my browser. I asked if it had to do with the "Unknown Zones" (Mixed Zones) and he said yes. They should have set me up as another user on my browser or cleared out all possible memory from it. I'm still having some problems getting into my bank site at times, but not sure if it's me or the bank site's problem. So to sum it up...I don't think they really know what they're doing. Also as long as they wage war against networking, they are working with vaporware. In spite of all this, it's working pretty good now. I will keep it till something better comes out.
I do receive both TV and ISP on the same dish.
