When this came up around the last time, CPB's admission against interest, and strange excuse for why it should not be privatized, is that it receives only 2% of its budget from the feds.

Well, if it's only 2%, they can make some cuts, peddle for more money in their fundraising campaign, and get along just fine, can't they?

It's a strange mental disease that makes one believe that if something isn't funded with federal dollars it is going to die a quick death of starvation, like there isn't a private sector at all.
