There used to be a tank truck clean out company in the same town where
I live. I talked to them about three years ago. I had a friend that
worked there. He said they made all kinds of money and he was
paid very well. Problem was, there is not a disposal place close
enough to them. The EPA was going to make them make changes and
they didn't own the place. So they moved. Later that year I did
a estimate for a guy that worked for them. He drove there every
day. (about 35 miles) He appeared to be doing quite well, he was
the manager. He said after they moved they were growing. I was
worried about the cleaning process going into the ground water.
He said there was no way! That they send it out of state.

I saw the place where he works not more than 3 months ago. It
looked like they were doing very well. Of course, they just cleaned
out the tanks that hauled waste, or when they changed the use of
the tank. I believe the whole process of cleaning, hauling and
disposal is very profitable. IMHO

I did a job and had to hire a asbestoes removal company. Funny,
I paid them 50% more than I was paid and it took me twice as long
to do my part! Their men were paid about $28 per hour.
Just a little of what I've seen and experienced.
