Soup,
Jobs predicted on the CNBC interview today that many would still buy locally, as they can get full technical support that way. This implies that support will be limited on stuff bought thru the apple store, perhaps just current telephone support terms. Wonder if the new store will point out the difference.

As a heavy user that would suit me just fine, but can see many folks still preferring to buy from a real person near home.

Notice the shipment terms on the store page? Two days if shipping from stock, but two weeks if non-stock. Not exactly JIT... .
