<< I predict no riots. They'll maybe gather in some numbers. Maybe some tear gas and whatnot will be needed. But no biggie. The "riots" after Big D won were weak and about as good as it will get.>>

As expected, nothing to speak of.

Big D is now Big Daddy, Milo's president.

Off to a good start.

Unfortunately for New Zealand, the government that took over when NZ prime minister John Key suddenly resigned led the attack on Israel at the UN at Barack Obama's instigation as a parting punishment to Netanyahu. Now Big D will suitably punish New Zealand.

John Key resigned when he saw that Big D had won and his good friend Barack Obama was gone and Hillary too.

John Key saw the writing on the wall and bailed out at the peak of his powers and after a great innings as PM. Bill English is already failing. He should have dumped the attack on Israel instead of allowing it to carry on. It is laughable that New Zealand, Senegal and bloody Venezuela of all the horrible places conspired to propose the anti-Israel attack in the UN. New Zealand was once upon a time a great place. Now it's not far from banana republic status and heading there rapidly. Pretty soon there will be a move to rename it Aotearoa [as used by native cannibals hundreds of years ago]. There was a failed move to replace the Union Jack flag with one that more Jolly Roger. The Jolly Roger version was in a way more appropriate for the way of life now of NZ - based on robbing producers and giving the proceeds of the highway robbery to the gang in power and their supporters and friends and families.

Another last minute attack by Obama was the FTC attacking my beloved Qualcomm for some trumped up rubbish about using monopoly pricing power in regard to Apple. Little Qualcomm vs Big Apple - and Apple gets the sympathy? But Qualcomm is a Jewish company [sort of] and Irwin Jacobs supported Israel so it makes sense [from Obama's point of view]. In fact, Apple was the one using naked power - the purchasing power which is the true power in free enterprise systems. Apple bullied Qualcomm with their huge market share into giving great discounts. Apple even throttles Qualcomm chip processing speed so that Intel chips perform as well as Qualcomm. Apple says "We're going to throttle your really amazing chips but if you give them to us cheaper than Intel's, we'll buy some from you. Otherwise you can go to Hell and miss out on a huge chunk of the market. BTW, if you do give them to us cheaply, we are going to complain to the FTC and launch an anti-monopoly suit so we don't have to pay you the royalty you want. And if you don't sell them to us at that price, we're going to lay a complaint that you are abusing monopoly power."

South Korea and China do the same, and have robbed Qualcomm of $billions as the price of being allowed to collect royalties from those countries and sell chips there.

Hopefully Trump will stop the rampant abuse and realize what made America great - it wasn't freeloaders from Jihadistan or Mexican invaders.

Trump could reasonably put a 33% tariff on products from NZ as punishment for the UN attack on Israel. China would be happy with that as they'd buy the products instead and get a better price than otherwise.

Smart move by John Key to quit while ahead.

Key was also one of those blathering on about Crimea [toadying to Obama again] and how Russia should be evicted. One of my great great grandfathers died from injuries in the Crimean war. I prefer to not repeat the bad idea of attacking Russia over Crimea. I could easily have been shot down over Ukraine a couple of weeks before the Malaysia airliner was shot down - I was quite fearful when I watched on the screen showing our journey in an A380 which was heading for Ukraine and could hardly believe they could be so stupid as to try that but they did. Pilots/airlines and authoritarians in general are as stupid as a stack of bricks.

It was only AFTER the 911 hijackers walked into the open cockpits that pilots figured out that keeping cockpit doors shut and locked is a good idea and who could have thought that flying over desperate men killing each other and armed with high flying rockets could pose a danger to airliners which might look remarkably like targeting aircraft?
