So that's a drop of 2681 points from the 3372 of May07, 79.5% retrace, wooo 2500 point drop from the Nov07 peak, that's 78.3% in a year, no wonder i don't pay attention to this facet of the macro, it's too depressing ... and this is before allowing for the survivorship bias that indices are supposed to have, lol Ah well it's the venture, you get a lot of losers that evaporate in their own small ways, and a few winners who go on to greatness - stockcharts.com Teck was becoming one of those winners forty years ago today ... in fact Keevil was central to reviving the VSE, he got disgusted by how much the TSE tightened up after the Windfall fiasco, came out west and conspired with Pezim and Glick and all those ... they ended up smack inside of the Ecuador of the day, in '72 the NDP got in and BC just about shut down, every company with projects in the province tanked utterly, and this is what drove canucks to be worldwide players
