Saturday May 1 10:26 AM ET: Serbs Say 23 Killed As NATO Bomb Hits Bus BELGRADE (Reuters) - Twenty-three people were killed when NATO bombs hit a bus on a bridge north of the Kosovo capital of Pristina, the Yugoslav state news agency Tanjug said Saturday. The ''Nis Express'' bus was split in two by the force of the blast as it was hit on a bridge in the town of Luzane, 20 km (12 miles) north of Pristina at 1 p.m., Tanjug said. Part of the bus plunged from the bridge while the other half stayed on the span, according to Tanjug, whose report could not be independently confirmed. It said 23 dead had been counted so far but indicated that the death toll could rise. The agency added that one more missile struck the bridge at 13:53 p.m. (1153 GMT), hitting an ambulance and wounding a doctor in the head. NATO sources in Brussels said they had no knowledge of the attack.
