yes....many times triple tops lead to breakouts....

but in the case of AMAT and INTC....since both are leaders in semi stocks....

looks like the mm's set them up to confuse the chart readers...

INTC double top ruled....highly unlikely AMAT breaks its triple top at least today.....they left everybody guessing which top would be the one to hold...

they sure sucked alot of buyers in AMAT and semi stocks friday when they ramped INTC to near its double top on friday close....

GE is also under a big triple top that may not ever break out...

double tops and bottoms are easiest to play.....triple tops and bottoms i would look at similar stocks in the sector to see what their chart is doing to confirm a chance at a breakout or failure....
