RE: The competition Amazon has more than just BKS and BGP as competition. [Both of them, by the way, are substantially less in market cap than AMZN right now ... Barnes & Noble is almost $1.5 million less in market cap than AMZN ... unbelievable!] People seem to have amnesia that Bertlesmann will move into online sales in a big way, and they have deeper pockets than AMZN+BGP+BKS, not to mention they own the publishers. I bought my first books from borders.com, two Vietnamese language books, one of which was said to be "unavailable" at Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised to find Bill Gates' The Road Ahead book included with my order as a free gift. I know they are having a huge surplus on that book, but still, it was a nice thought :)
