Oh, Ish, nobody wants to hang you. You are one of the good guys. Personally, I'll take a warm-hearted Neanderthal over a sensitive New Age type guy any day of the week. I admit to being a touch confused as to the distinction made between feminists and ladies. OTOH, it seemed like one of those topics that was liable to touch off one of those knock-down drag-outs that Feelies seems to generate. I admit to being a feminist, not sure if others would call me a lady. I recall once using blue language when my bicycle fell down in front of a drug store. The pharmacist told me that ladies didn't use language like that. I must have been 12, and I informed him that I wasn't a lady. He told me, "well, you don't have to let all the world know it." Which shut me up, and after 25 years I STILL don't have a snappy comeback.
