everybody on planet earth has declared the end of the bond bull, and they have been for about a year. hell, even I am gone from 60% of my position. fwiw, in the poll of strategists in Barron's today, the guess on the year-end for TNX is about 5.00%, with a low guess of 4.70% by Abby and a high of 5.40% from some dude named Francios Trahan at Bear Stearns. which of course means that either yields are going to stay in the 3.00-4.00% range or soar to 6.00%. you know which way i'm guessing <g> Cheers
