Croc! We are stovetwins! We also have a Whirlpool ceramic top and I love it. I would have preferred gas for cooking, but the gas company told me it would cost several thousand to wire for it and for a woman who was cooking mainly Manwich Sandwich and PRego spaghetti sauce that didn't seem justifiable, but this is wonderfully easy to clean up and I never even think about cracking it. I am much more worried about breaking my new CEPHALON (Namedropping for Karen) glass lids. I am going to try a couple of those recipes-- the basmati rice one and the tofu one.
