from ADAGE....

Netscape's Mr. Evans
However, said Mr. Evans at Netscape, "The entire business model of a third-party rep firm is competitive up and down the line." He said he's been satisfied with the sales business he's been receiving from ZuluMedia, which represents Netscape on a non-exclusive basis.

However, Netscape's relationship going forward with ESVS/ZULU will be based to a large extent on how it redefines its Web site strategy, Mr. Evans added.

Netscape is talking to various industry partners and "evaluating our options," said Lynn Carpenter, director of Web site marketing for Netscape. She declined to give further details.

Other clients of ESVS/ZULU, which reported $40 million in revenues last year, include ZDNet, Playboy.com and Microsoft's Hotmail.
