It just tells me there's more fear in this market of missing the next rally than anything else.

How do you jump to this conclusion from one person's post? One person discounts the possibility that we could get a double dip and you draw a straight line to "in this market"? I fail to see how one person's opinion (bullish or bearish) has any reflection on how the overall market is viewing the future.

Until otherwise proven, we are in a bear market rally, jumping higher because we have a slightly better view of what we can expect in the 4th quarter. We will see how the market reacts once the dust settles and we can look at the cumulative guidance to see if there is anything worth getting bullish about. We've had 3 straight months of going down and now we get the typical snap back (probably too far, too fast) bear market rally. Who's to say that we don't get 3 more months of selling as soon as this rally is over?
