Kerry's Vietnam will be what destroyed him just the thing he thought would get him the presidency.

They will be writing tons of books about this campaign. I don't remember anything to equal it. "The Gutty little vets" against the "Kerry Machine." I already used "the vets dead hand from the grave" picture. I expect some Editorial cartoonist will have it in a paper next week.

For some reason, Kerry is now reminding me of "The Picture of Dorian Grey."

But the real comparison is "The Manchurian Candidate." John Kerry as Lawrence Harvey. He built this carefully constructed war record years ago to propel himself to the Presidency. And now it is pulling him down.
