stock bull: I believe you have to look at these numbers in its totality,ie one will have to take the numbers from Jan to Aug and still that is only half the story we have another 6 months to go which historically is the strongest for many companies including the PC industry. As for housing numbers, we have been growing at a very fast and unsustainable pace in the past 6 months,if this trend were to continue we would have to worry about FED raising the rates,inflation and such. As for GDP, a 5% growth is too fast for our economy according to the pundits and a bit of slowdown is welcome news to cool thing down a bit so that we might have a more sustainable growth rate of 1-2%,that is if we want to continue the growth for a longer period of time. Call me a fool but that is how I see it,what can I tell you I am an optimist.<VBG> As for analysts, who cares what they were looking for any way,I believe they were expecting the fast and furious pace to continue as always.
