I've always thought most of the folks here were liberals (apologies Dale- I think being liberal is a compliment, though, so I'm basically apologizing for complimenting y'all).

While a disproportionate amount of the regulars here are fairly ardent liberals, that is not what the thread was founded for, or why I participate here.

If it did become that, you would find me absent. "Why Liberalism Lost the Center and Can't Seem To Get It Back" is a more interesting topic for a cynic like myself. Just like the crash and burn of neoconservatism. Except liberalism has a chance to resurrect itself in 2008 if it doesn't get lost in its own ideological blind alleys again.

Translation: Okay, we're all lefties here. But lets pretend otherwise and get back to bashing Bush and conservatives.
