We have a term for this. It's called "willful blindness".

They seem to be arguing that Bush is not REALLY a 'conservative' (certainly a fair interpretation considering his big spending, big deficit, and Big Government ways).
Wars are expensive. Now as to whether he should be in one, see the bottom of this.
