Tench - Re: When the Xeon brand name was released (or was it Celeron?), I remember reading somewhere that Intel marketing made sure that the brand name didn't translate into anything meaningful in 20 languages. This is probably to avoid the Chevrolet Nova effect. ("No va" in Spanish means "It doesn't go!")

I remember hearing/reading somewhere that Colgate meant something similarly fubar.
