Mary - Re: "Can it get to a point where you could transmit music in this format good enough for audiophiles?" Rule of thumb - NOTHING is ever good enough for audiophiles ! At best, high data rates without compression would have to be achievable. Right now, the 44.1 KHz is the "CD" standard, but that also assumes UNINTERRUPED data streams. So, I wouldn't expect real audiophile capability real soon - nor would I worry about it. Paul
