<<Once you get Trump on your side, you need not worry. He is a man who wins or dies trying.>>

When fighting Adolf Hitler, winning or dying trying can make sense. But when attacking other people, it's not a good idea to die trying to beat them. That's what Hitler did. He died trying to beat USSR at the time.

Obama thought beating Russia was a good idea. Trump said, correctly, it would be better to get along with Russia and everyone make money. But now, the Zbigniew zero-sum game revenge on Stalin ideology is back in action and the attempt to get Ukraine into NATO, including Crimea, and Russia OUT of Ukraine is back in action.

Sometimes co-operation makes a LOT more sense than does conflict.

Trump's feats of clay are showing. He is likely to die trying, because Russia has umpty megatons which says the USA conquest of Russia won't go much better than the German one, which ended with a fair bit of destruction in Germany and Hitler dead in his bunker. Maybe Trump's bunker will be safer - Russia certainly won't be invading after the nuclear holocaust, so I guess that could be counted as 'winning" but without Washington, New York Los Angeles etc etc etc etc the "win" might not be much more glorious than the Charge of the Light Brigade who tried to take Crimea from Russia, long ago [my great great grandfather died of his wounds in the Crimean war and I prefer NOT to die in a modern re-enactment by Big Don].

Russia and Putin won't just surrender. Because they are so weak, they have to go nuclear.

Maybe missile defences can shoot down 90% of what Russia launches. It's the 5% or 10% that would make a big mess.

WWI ended in 1917 so it would be a good centenary commemoration to repeat the MADness in 2017. Lest We Forget and all that hypocrisy. It seems like a good idea to enjoy a "cakewalk" through Iraq or Russia. But sometimes cakewalks can turn out to be nightmares. Thousands of USA soldiers are dead because Bush thought a WMD cakewalk would be a great idea. Tens of thousands are maimed and traumatized. $trillions are down the gurgler. Even now, carnage continues in Mosul with ISIS rampaging.

A "cakewalk" into Russia's Crimean military facilities might seem like a great idea. It won't be.

I will not be surprised if Trump does it though. He likes to show he's the boss. Bad idea.

Looks as though Hillary might not have been worse. So much for "Putin wants Trump". I doubt Putin is at all surprised. He knows what the USA is up to.
