There's a great section in your book that shows investors can make $$$ on both sides of the market. You just have to be willing to learn how to short and make the proper option plays.

"The bull market profit is at the rate of 4.09%/month while the bear market profit is 6.36%/month. Traders cannot afford to lose such a profitable opportunity. They must learn to adjust their thinking to play both sides of the market." - pg 31 in "THE BOOK" :o)

Many brokers were driving cabs to stay alive primarily because Mr. Jones does not sell short. You can and this is why we did the trading contest with 3 short sales and 3 longs to force everyone who entered it to watch how their stock reacted on a short sale. We need to do more of it as it is a great drill.
