Maybe that's the cost of covering everyone, including seniors. Other countries have it, for better or for worse. That's why I think universal health care will be inevitable.

Right...means test, increase copays...whatever makes the system solvent...but there must be a system that protects people against catastrophe...

But there's nothing altruistic about universal health care. In fact, that's just the result of people not wanting to pay for their own health insurance like they do for car or homeowner's insurance.

You can't relate to the large segment of the population that goes paycheck and the many without even a paycheck? It's not hard to imagine...it's a growing segment of our society.
