Anne maybe you might see some value in Village Farms Intl (VFF). This is not a typical GN value Buy but may/could be a potential one, especially if EPS grow.

I got a fill today for this small cap at $9.44/share. This will go into my Food Grower basket w/ $0.85/share EPS estimate for 2020. So forward PE is 11x. There is not too much debt and the kicker is you get a marijuana JV in the deal.

I have looked at many of the POT stocks and really just no earnings yet. VFF has earnings from their greenhouse-grown tomatoes, bell peppers and cucumbers produce business.

Here is their most recent 10K

Perhaps fair value according to GN is only $7.50/share, but my bet is on growing EPS especially from their marijuana business.

My position is quite small so I wanted to add this GARP stock to my Food/AG basket. At 11PE, think it is at a good price.

FWIW, I am looking to start a position in CAG w/ a normal 1.5% portfolio position. Div is 2.7% (only 19% payout) so it s/d increase. They have the opportunity to move into the vegan meat business. Still expensive at 15 PE so still waiting to make my first Buy at/below $27.00/share (GN fair value based on 2020 earnings).

Like Paul Sr. I average into such a position w/ 3-5 Buys and have this on my watch list. I like the Food/Ag sector as it has been out of favor last few quarters but recently new money has seen the value and bidding up the share price.

CAG may have been mentioned here before but not for a long time.
