He is most definitely not stupid. I'm sure you remember Hank from the early days of SI. Kind of a visionary. It's amazing he sold such a big chuck of his holding at such a large 95% discount. He has sold over 60% of his holding, while his wife has sold all her shares. We will find out in a week whether this was simply a margin call related liquidation, as the company says.

It's hard to see how Avici can miss the quarter, coming from such a base, and with major shareholders as customers.
