I always thought that the term double top meant...well, ...double top.

I didn't know that there is (a) double top of a trading range as you suggested Dr. Bob meant, and (b) double top in a more technical sense that must have a certain bottom later before it can be called a double top. In this one I see that you can't really call something a double top until after a month or more has passed.

In that question I asked Dr. Bob in post 5401 I was basically asking how does one know when a top has been reached (so that I can sell) and what signals do I look for in determining such.
