Hi Paul,
Yep, I'm still stuck in the AIM rut! The last decade has been generous enough but I prefer my yacht here in Wisconsin.....

I had shifted gears to mostly ETFs for most of the last 12 years but started back with a basket of just 10 individual company stocks five years ago. I call it my "Sandbox" portfolio where I can play without too much worry of damage. Some have been excellent and some have been dogs. As I've added and deleted stocks it's morph'd into more "value" than it originally started. Average yield is currently about 4.3% for the holdings and it has reasonable Price/Book Value average of 2.7 (which includes AAPL at 10.3).

The Sandbox is a retirement account, so losses don't do it much good. It includes KHC which has been a bummer since I added it. At least there's a yield to act as burn ointment. Overall, I carry a healthy cash reserve so weeks like we just had don't upset too much. AMTD is in the portfolio and I added 12% to that position this last week with the crushing of commissions at several of the brokerages this week. I guess they think that they'll make up for the commissions with increased volume! :-) I've used AIM with brokerages for a very long time and through other big upsets. So, this event could be just one more. I'll wait a month and then add more shares it the world hasn't come to an end.

Best regards,
Tom
