Hi Roebear,

A couple of years ago when the BOE auctions were fear-inspiring events in the gold market, someone at another thread related how a similar situation existed in the 60s (I think) with the so-called gold pool doing the gold bashing. As I remember it, by the time of the last scheduled sales nobody cared anymore and gold just rose without opposition. It looks like the BOE auctions may end the same way... nobody cares, gold to the moon <g>.
