Yes, there are a lot of interpretations and artistic uses of this geometric tool.
Much of which is not covered by stock charts, but can be found with a little research.

I use only the strictest placement of the Andrew's pitchfork and its interpretation as taught by Alan Andrews in his seminars. They're magnetic lines that attract and repulse price. They're also a measure of time.

Sooo... this statement - "Pitchfork trend lines can provide support or resistance" - to me is not the correct way to look at the pitchfork and they are not channels either. But that said Andrews encouraged creative interpretation.
