Mohan: I agree. A lot of sane people in India and Pakistan agree. I am indifferent to even Pakistan taking over India as long as the governments are guaranteed to be democratic and the institutions are corruption free. This was Mahatma Gandhi's view too. He was ready to give the power to Jinnah and not have a Pakistan carved out of India.
