Woollsey was the SOB behind Chalabi! Sure, Woollsey sounds great. This probably explains why our intelligence agencies took Chalabi at face value. I have posted about this for months. Probably on FADG which may explain if you don't know it. He was the one who said that the Iraqis would rise up and fight for us. In fairness, I am sure Chalabi snowed him. I admit I did not like Chalabi or Woollsey from the get go, but that was because of Perle. Woollsey is Perle's boy. I was suspicious of Wolfowitz for the same reason but Wolfie is ok. Wrong about Chalabi too, though. Even Rumsfled has been quiet since Chalabi. I think more due to Chalabi than Abu Ghraib but it's hard to know.
