And the other challenge for Andrx is the prospect of Prilosec going OTC. The higher (40mg) dose would likely stay RX, but the dominant dose is the 20mg.

SGP is trying to play this OTC switch with Claritin as well. It remains quite unclear whether they will get a 3 year OTC exclusive period or not.
