Scrapps -- Take a look at Computer Associates and compare them to Dell. <GG> True, but Computer Associates took a one time charges of $808 and $598 million in acquistions. I do see your point about R&D expenditures, yeah DELL is relatively low along with Compaq but then I guess one could say a lot of the R&D cost associated with a PC is spent by the chip companies. By the way thanks for the last few posts to me and sorry I haven't responded. I'm still checking out that new LMDS spectrum you posted about. No biggie, my intent was for people to bookmark that stuff for future reference. I haven't had much time to look it over yet but find it very interesting.I've got lots of reading to do! <gg> Derek
